Community Walk Audit

WALKING AUDITS

Feet on the ground to assess pedestrian access & walkability.

A walk audit is an expert-led walking inspection of sidewalks, crossings, lighting, curb cuts, signage, and street amenities. Ana identifies barriers; like uneven pavement, confusing intersections, poor lighting, and missing curb ramps, and evaluates how these impact daily walkers, including families, seniors, and individuals with mobility challenges. We pair on-site observations with community engagement and data-driven analysis to deliver clear, prioritized recommendations. These help transform environments to be safer, more inclusive, and more enjoyable for everyone on foot.

Community-Focused Walking Program

COMMUNITY-FOCUSED WALKING PROGRAMS

Community engagement (Walk2Connect Program)

Our Connection‑Focused Walking Program supports communities in coming together through simple, shoulder-to-shoulder walking; what we call “life at 3 mph.” Rooted in shared experience, these walks offer physical health benefits while fostering deeper, in-person connections among neighbors, friends, and local groups. Participants learn from trained Walking Movement Leaders who facilitate guided strolls that prioritize equity, inclusion, and welcoming everyone, whether they walk, roll, or stroll. Beyond movement, this program nurtures a more connected, resilient community by building relationships, cultivating trust, and promoting wellbeing step by step.
