Tell us your story. I was hit by a vehicle around 7:30pm on October 13, 2017. I was waiting waiting for an opportunity to cross the street at Lincoln and Maple in Denver. When me an my partner were sure that there was no traffic coming on Lincoln we proceeded to cross and a car that was turning into Lincoln hit me with driver's side mirror of the car.

Have you been back? I have never been back to the same area. For reasons out of my control I do not feel comfortable visiting the same area.

Changes you would like to see? More street lighting and strengthening driver's responsibility.

How did this event changed you? I am not as comfortable crossing a street now, even if I am in an intersection with a traffic light.
